It’s been a while…

I finally purchased another doll, this one for customization. She’s an Asian Butterfly Encore with no scalp, who will one day be named Emily. Right now she looks so lonely and naked. I sandmatted her, somewhat successfully. I’m still experimenting with sandpaper courseness, though. I’m also working on re-rooting a nice black haired saran scalp for her. I can’t decide if I want to give her bangs or not. I’m modeling her on a character who has bangs, but I’m not a huge fan of the typical bushy Blythe bangs. Maybe a nice thin, side-swept bang would be nicer…

My Blythes have a new house coming along, too. Right now it has a lot of Barbie pink in it, but I’m hoping to repaint some of the furniture in normal colors. If only there were more hours in the day!
